Calling all Office Hours Volunteers!

If you would like to volunteer at the Centre second term by maintaining some regular office hours, please leave a COMMENT to this post (just click on the bottom where the "comments" are - sorry if this seems condescending, I just know that is something that would confuse me for sure). What does volunteering for Office Hours mean?
Doing office hours includes keeping the door open (the main objective), providing references/referalls for anyone who stops by, taking people's info if they'd like to be involved, postering, answering the phone - and if it's quiet (usually is!) - just hanging out, doing homework/studying, making use of our computer, et cetera.

Just a reminder about the event in the art gallery, 12-2pm on Dec 6th. Volunteers, please be there at 11:45am. Thanks so much to everyone for volunteering, your help is much appreciated. See below for further details about the event. (Or around campus - there's lots of posters!)

The Women's Centre is officially done for 2005, and will return in full force in 2006! Over the break, I will make a post requesting volunteers for Office Hours. You'll be able to "leave a comment" of when you are available. This way, you'll be able to see what everyone else is volunteering for - what is available, and what is not.

One last thing - I picked up our shirts yesterday, and they are AWESOME. They look really rad. I sported mine to the library today, and got 3 compliments on it in under 15 minutes, yeah! If you are volunteering on Dec 6th or are attending the event that day, you can get your shirt then. After that, they'll be available at the Centre in the New Year.
