Hey Everyone!
As crazy as it sounds...The Atlantic Waves Conference and FemFEST is THIS weekend!
So I wanted to send out a reminder to everyone to get their registration in to the Women's Centre (Room 526 SUB). Even if you don't have your registration fees til the night of the opening, it would be uberly helpful if you could let us know that you plan on being there so we can get all of those last minute details finalized.
Conference fees are as follows:
$60.00- Fairly Waged
$30.00- Student/Senior/Un/der-Waged
If cost is an issue, you can cut your registration fees in half by volunteering for 5 hours at the conference or FemFEST, or get in contact with someone at the Women's Centre @ halifeminist@yahoo.ca or with the Atlantic Waves Organizing Committee @ atlanticwavesconference@yahoo.ca.
Also- if anyone would just like to help out:
A volunteer planning meeting will be held at The Khyber at 1588 Barrington St. on Thursday, October 12th at 6:30. It will only be about an hour long, but is extremely important if you wish to volunteer. If you can't make it, let us know and we'll work something out. Also, please R.S.V.P. if you ARE coming.
